Ethoxyquin was originally developed as a rubber stabilizer. The Monsanto corporation later refined it for use as a preservative in animal feeds. I encourage you to do your research, look at the ingredient listings and find out what they are and their possible effects on our birds. If you find something you do not like ---please contact the company. Let them know what you find "acceptable" and "non-acceptable" in the food you feed your birds. While one letter may not make a difference, if enough people express their concern---they may change to suit their customers. |
